Response to Federal Office of Management and Budget Memo

UPDATE 1/31/25 The Georgia Department of Education has communicated that the freeze on Federal Funding memorandum was rescinded. All Title funds along with other federally provided like nutrition will continue to flow to all qualified school districts. 

1/28/25 We understand the Federal Office of Management and Budget released a memo today directing all federal agencies to pause disbursements of funds under federal assistance programs until further notice. We are planning normal operations to continue in the Cherokee County School District and will remain in contact with the Georgia Department of Education should there be any impact.
